1  Alleluja. Confitebor tibi, Domine, in toto corde meo,

in consilio justorum, et congregatione.
2  Magna opera Domini: exquisita in omnes voluntates ejus.
3  Confessio et magnificentia opus ejus,

et justitia ejus manet in saeculum saeculi.
4  Memoriam fecit mirabilium suorum,

misericors et miserator Dominus.

1. I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;

in the council of the just, and in the congregation.
2, Great are the works of the Lord: sought out according to all his wills.
3. His work is praise and magnificence:

and his justice continueth for ever and ever.
4, He hath made a remembrance of his wonderful works,

being a merciful and gracious Lord:
5. He hath given food to them that fear him.

He will be mindful for ever of his covenant:
6, He will shew forth to his people the power of his works.
7. That he may give them the inheritance of the Gentiles:

the works of his hands are truth and judgment.
8. All his commandments are faithful:

confirmed for ever and ever, made in truth and equity.
9. He hath sent redemption to his people:

he hath commanded his covenant for ever.

Holy and terrible is his name:
10. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

A good understanding to all that do it:

his praise continueth for ever and ever.

1  ¡Aleluya!. Te agradezco, señor de todo corazón,

en unión de los justos y toda la comunidad.
2  Grandes son las obras del señor: se ven en todas sus acciones.
3  Honor y exaltación a sus obras, su justicia permanece por siempre.
4  Para siempre recordadas serán las maravillas

y la misericordia del Dios lleno de gracia.
5  Alimento dará a quienes le temen, es su promesa siempre mantenida.
6  Las virtudes de sus obras las anuncia todo su pueblo,
7  para llenarles de su Herencia. Las obras de sus manos son verdad y justicia.
8  Y sus mandatos se mantendrán fieles por los siglos de los siglos,

en la verdad y la equidad.
9  Envió la redención a su pueblo; sus leyes serán eternas. Santo y grandioso es su nombre.
10  El inicio de la sabiduría es temerle; así hace siempre la mente correcta: su alabanza permanezca por siempre.

im Rat der Frommen und in der Gemeine.
2  Groß sind die Werke des Herrn; wer ihrer achtet, der hat eitel Lust daran.
3  Was er ordnet, das ist löblich und herrlich,

und seine Gerechtigkeit bleibet ewiglich.
4  Er hat ein Gedächtnis gestiftet seiner Wunder,

der gnädige und barmherzige Herr.
5  Er gibt Speise denen, so ihn fürchten; er gedenket ewiglich an seinen Bund.
6  Er läßt verkündigen seine gewaltigen Taten seinem Volk,

daß er ihnen gebe das Erbe der Heiden.
7  Die Werke seiner Hände sind Wahrheit und Recht;

alle seine Gebote sind rechtschaffen.
8  Sie werden erhalten immer und ewiglich und geschehen treulich und redlich.
9  Er sendet eine Erlösung seinem Volk;

er verheißet, daß sein Bund ewiglich bleiben soll. Heilig und hehr ist sein Name.
10  Die Furcht des Herrn ist der Weisheit Anfang; das ist eine feine Klugheit;

wer danach tut, des Lob bleibet ewiglich.
