Análisis temporal de un archivo MIDI,
Elegimos la Fuga de nº 2 en do menor, del primer cuaderno del Clave, BWV847, pero en nuestra versión, programada en Mapatone.
Como ya hicimos para estimar las longitudes de verso y su carácter yámbico o trocaico en la Vida es Sueño y otras obras dramáticas en verso, ahora lo aplicamos a la música.
Calculamos la frecuencia de aparición de principios de nota. Como es de suponer que el principio de compás es determinado por muchos comienzos, una vez que acumulemos los principios para diferentes longitudes de compás, parecerá el principio como un máximo. Esta es la hipótesis. Esta pieza, de la que sabemos que admite un compás de 16 corcheas, comienza en la tercera, lo que convierte el primer compás en anacrúsico.
En el cuadro siguiente conservamos los histogramas realizados para un archivo MIDI de la misma pieza, aunque unidos preludio y fuga: BWV847, en Análisis de Fuga 2 del clavecín.
